The off-season tradition returns, and preperations are underway for: The Indy Circle Track Expo 11, Swap Meet * Trade Show, January 29, 2011 @ the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, IN!

THE SHOW

It's one of the biggest shows of it's kind in the entire country, and by far the biggest show in the entire Midwest!! Last year's Indy Circle Track Expo had just over 400 booth spaces (in 2 buildings), with vendors from 13 different (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennnessee, West Virginia, and Wisconsin (and oddly enough, 2 with the name Arizona, but they're not from there)

! This Swap Meet and Trade Show, will bring together local racers, professional racers, racing business's (manufacturers & dealers), race tracks, and sanctioning bodies all under 1 massive roof! Last year, the 67,000 Sq. ft. Champions Pavilion sold-out the show for the 9th year in a row!! Don't miss out!!

We are very excited to announce that this year during the Indy Circle Track Expo, we will be hosting a presentation for the Indiana Open Wheel Awards!! It’s kind of a “Viewer’s Choice” award for Racers, as it is voted by Fans, and fellow Racers! Categories include: Manufacturer of the Year (oty), Media Member oty, Midget Driver oty, Most Improved Driver oty, Promoter oty, Rookie oty, Sprint Car Driver oty, Team oty, and Track oty.

THE VOTING FOR THE ABOVE CATEGORIES ENDS MONDAY DECEMBER 13th, SO GET YOUR VOTES IN NOW!!!!

THE FEUD

The Beast Race Cars "Circle Track Feud" Presented by Racin' W/D.O. and H.A.R.F., returns for another attempt at Game Show Infamy! The Mechanics, vs. the Legends, vs. The Current Heroes format will once again be in play! Last year's winner, Dave Darland walked away with his first victory of the 2010 season, and promptly donated the winnings to the Vogler Scholarship Fund! Once again this year, each Celebrity Panelist will be playing for more than just bragging rights, they'll actually be playing for $400, which will then be donated to the charity of their choice!! The kings of historical knowledge on all things fast, will be returning!.. Indianapolis Motor Speedway Historian Donald Davidson and www.openwheeltimes.com Kevin Eckert will be tossing out the Questions & Points, in this battle for "mental" supremacy!! Also returning to help keep the train somewhat on the track, will be www.jackslash.com 's Sean Buckley!!
As in years past, we will be utilizing some Legends of the sport, as well as some of today's heroes! We have been fortunate to have some of the finest in the business, grace our stage over the the years, and this year will be no different!

While the Mechanics/Car Builers Team line-up is set with Bob East , Joe Devin , and Steve "The Bopper" Stapp , it’s high time we start bringing in some competition!
Right off the top, the defending Champion of the “Feud” will be returning to defend his.. Well, we’re not sure what exactly??.. Oh, how about, he’s returning to defend his 1-0 “Feud” winning streak!?! That’s right, Dave Darland started off his winning ways in 2010, with his first victory of the year by winning the “Feud”! Dave will be leading the charge of Current Heroes, while the Legends Team will be led by Johnny Parsons Jr.! J.P has been teaching some classes recently, and figures he is ready to “school” this year’s competitors in his 2nd attempt at the “Feud”!

The Legends, and Current Heroes Teams have 2 more contestants each, yet to be named, keep checking back for those announcements!!
