Happy Birthday

Today's The Rocket's 59th birthday. He won the first 500 I ever attended when I was 10 years old, he's my all time favorite in an Indy Car. I'd put him up against anybody in an Indy Car. If I had to win one race, he would be my driver. He knew how to take care of the equipment and then be an assassin when it was go-time. Six 500 poles and 4 wins in 15 starts. I've never met a nicer driver either (he and Darland tie).

Best move I have seen in my 27 500's was his pass of Michael Andretti on the outside of turn 1 in 1991.
