Congrats to Cory. He really is one of the best in the business. I got hooked on the west coast guys when they used to come east for the NWWC. The internet is a great thing for keeping track of racing series that you wouldn't have been able to before. Cory seemed like he was pretty much unbeatable five years ago, so it is good to see him in the winners circle a few times this year. On another note, it was a tough west coast trip for Stanbrough. I think all of us in the midwest thought he would come away with a win or two.

I really don't know what happened to Jon at the PAS. It appeared he was having a tough evening all night. I too was hoping he would do well. I have seen him do so well in so many videos in so many different racing organizations. He always someone who does quite well. It was nice he came out to the West Coast. I don't know how much each racer got at the races, but a whole bunch of people and sponsors and racers put up lap money and there was money, I think close to a thousand dollars for the trophy dash in Memory of Jesse Hockett. They don't run trophy dashes to much and the trophy dash was a lot of fun to watch. Mike Spencer won the trophy dash.

Cory was in the lead in his heat races and was way up front in the main so I know I was concentrating a little ways back to catch some great racing action. I think that is why the video did not show to much of him. He was just to far in front of everybody and I think everybody including the videographers were trying to get a little of passing action from the back or at least behind Cory.

Sincerely,

Larry "O", it was truely some great racing action at the PAS. Thanks for all the drivers who made it out one last time!
