"Clauson claims NMDOTY Title# 2"


Milwaukee, Wis., Nov.28---Another brilliant season has earned Bryan Clauson the 2010 National Midget Driver of the Year Championship. Clauson becomes the third driver to win back-to-back titles.
Clauson scored eleven midget feature victories, including the Belleville Midget Nationals, Turkey Night Grand Prix and Hut Hundred easily outdistancing the field of 509 drivers. Brad Loyet led all drivers with 13 midget features and placed second in points followed by past NMDOTY Champions Brad Kuhn and Jerry Coons Jr. ARDC Champion Steve Buckwalter also claimed eleven feature wins placed fifth.
Kuhn's car owner Corey Tucker captured the Car Owners Championship finishing ahead of Loyet Motorsports and RW Motorsports. Indiana's Dalton Armstrong captured seven features during the season winning the Design 500 Racewear Rookie of the Year. Spike (Chassis), and Ford-Esslinger (engine) again won the Manufacturers Championship.
The top ten drivers and top five car owners along with Manufacturers Champions and Rookie of the Year will receive their point fund checks and trophies in the annual ceremony held during the final night of the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals on Jan. 15, 2011.
