Don't know where he starts tonight but was 6th quick in final truck practice. He is also in the Red Bull Nationwide (84) car and is 4th quick in practice. A REAL talent and from what everyone tells me a great young man. GO GIT 'EM KID!!

We were chuckling tonight about how the "Fender" guys are all saying "this kid Cole Whitt is pretty good". They talk about him like he came out of nowhere. Welcome to the Party Fender guys. We all know he is good and has been for a long time.

If the Red Bull guys don't lock Cole up for a long time, they are not spending wisely. He has already done more in those cars than any of their other Full Time drivers, Kasey excluded...

Hey Pete how about Red Bull signing Cole this year to a long term contract and Coleman next year. What a dream team that would be? I have to laugh watching the truck race not only do they think Cole came out of no where they think he is driving over his head and headed for trouble. Keep your eyes open Nascar Cole will teach you a thing or two.

Hi Patti, That would be cool.. Cole has been very good with Coleman in our 2 years in Indy and we are big CW fans. We are busy putting our season together for 2011 and have some interesting things in the works. Coleman is enjoying his Hockey Season right now. Had a heck of a game last night.

We are pulling for Cole big time and hope he stays for good in NC. He deserves his shot..

Cheers,

pg

Hi Pete, I have also been pulling for Cole and hope he gets to run a full season next year in either Nascar Trucks or Nationwide or both.

Wish Coleman all the best with his Hockey Season for me. Look forward to hearing what Coleman's racing plans are for 2011 and hope our paths cross at a race track somewhere next year.

I really miss seeing Cole in the Kunz stuff but I am glad to see him succeed with the fender fellas. Any of you guys know where to find/purchase his open wheel hoodies? They aren't on his website anymore, so I imagine they aren't selling them any longer. But any word would be great!

I know this thread is about Whitt, but I wanna give props to Stenhouse. He made a great charge back up to 4th after restarting around 22nd with around 20 to go. I thought it was a mistake to pit that late but he made up for it. And he won the Rookie of the Year title. Great job Ricky!
