New York, NY, 3/22/08 – Race/Network is very happy to announce an agreement with the POWRi racing organization to stream LIVE the Midget and 600 Micro races at the indoor Southern Illinois Center in DuQuoin. The racing takes place Saturday March 29th with a 6:00 pm CST starting time.

The normal single day event rate for a live broadcast by race/network is $12.99, but for this special event and this special cause to benefit Marty Boyer’s recovery, race/network has lowered the subscription price to $10.99. For each and every subscription sold race/network will donate $1.00 of the fee towards Marty Boyer. Race/Network’s goal is to get over 1000 viewers for this event so that they can present a check for over $1000.00 to help with his medical bills.

“Marty has been extremely generous to all in the Midget racing community and this is the least we can do to help him in his time of need”, said race/network co-founder Ian Marvuglio. Ian went on to say, “We look forward to working with Ken Brown and the entire POWRi group as they too will be donating a portion of their ticket sales to benefit Marty. We encourage all that can, to attend this race and enjoy some great racing on the track and help a friend of the sport. If you cannot make it, catch it live on race/network.”

Brian Harmdierks, co-founder of race/network, added: "Marty has been and will continue to be a great asset to midget racing. After having worked with him for our Belleville stream I appreciate his love and promotion for the sport. His unbiased support of midget racing is a motivating force for us to continue to provide live coverage of this exciting sport."

The DuQuoin racing should be fantastic as POWRi is expecting close to 100 cars between their 600 Micro and National Midget divisions. The tight confines of the 1/6 mile Southern Illinois Center will ensure a battle going on in every turn of every lap. Brad Loyet won the initial DuQuoin indoor race on January 19th, who will prevail in the second installment on March 29th.

For more information on the POWRi series or how to get tickets to the event, please visit: http://www.powri.com and if you would like more information on how to get the Live Internet stream right to your computer, then go to http://www.racenetwork.tv and sign-up for your Free membership. If are a midget fan and have $10.99, every single person that visits this website should do it no questions asked. It is a great cause and you get to see some great midget action. Don't you agree?
