I wonder if USAC will allow some cars to tag the tail of the heats.

To have just 19 midgets on dirt, (especially at the 4-Crown) is a pretty sad turn out.........

USAC is going to have to do something to reign in the costs/limit the engines!

Owners know that Eldora is a very high RPM track for a Midget. Unless you have a killer motor, you don't have a shot at winning.

19 midgets at the 4 crown is sad. what i find more shocking is only 26 silver crown cars.

Silver Crown is actually up from last year, it was only 22 then. POWRi is running tonight too, so I'm guessing that hurt the midget count a little.

This has been the trend the last few years, it's not anything shocking. I was there last night, and the quality of cars is there, so I wouldn't be worried about it.

I would definitely say though, USAC has tough shoes to fill tonight for sure. The World of Outlaws put on a fantastic show. Very very good racing.
