Surprised that no one on here has even mentioned "The Jim Hurtubise Classic" USAC Sprint race at Terre Haute Saturday night. Not very often you can see 2 USAC Sprint shows back to back and only 35 miles apart. THAT website says $5 off admission for all HARF members.

Just got off the phone with Track Enterprises and the lady told me they were having a meeting today to decide if coolers will be allowed in the bleachers and grandstands.

Coolers or not won’t keep me away, but I’d like to see them allow them to finish out the year. I know it’s a new group and it’s their decision, but I’d like to see the rule stay the same. If they promote next year, then set the rule however you want to at the start of the year. Not everybody gets on the internet so they could avoid some hassle by keeping the rule the same for the last two events...

Tell me what the difference is in bringing something in from a outside concessionaire (Durring the fair) than bringing a cooler in?

Fairboard charges vendors a fee to set up a concession stand while you bringing in your cooler generates absolutely nothing but more trash for them to pick up. Sorry, but that is how it is.

With the high prices they were charging for one class. I believe it was 25 to every other sprint week being 20. Id say that makes up for trash they'd have to clean up, weather it was in house or not.

TE is going to do what it has to do. I can also. PVille has a pretty stout lineup for saturday, I can save that extra 80 miles and have a cooler..

Start the policy next year, Whatever it is and I'll live with it, Having the cooler for the weekend is going to help make the 4hr drive and other expenses more feasible.

Maybe Im in a minority here. IDK, Im sure most are local but it helps in getting me there which is money they wouldn't get period if I stayed home or chose a more hospitable facility..

Don't get me wrong, I love Terre and want it to survive, which its been having problems doing. Enacting any policy that is unwelcoming can only hurt in my view.
