the ohio hammer luke hall finished 4th. tmez westfall hendricks and crabtree won the heats. joss moffat was running strong in the feature before he tagged the front stretch wall. dont know who that crabtree is but he was fast but also very rough driver.

I really don't think he meant it that way. and even so, How about the guy in the Burg thread wondering why the REAL Dirt fans weren't posting updates. Because they were at a real race and he wasnt! LOL.

Take it easy HH and thanks for the finish

Another night of top quality racing at WRP!!! 31 sprinters in the pits, 29 mods, 20+ tuff trucks, and 17 compacts for $12 to get in...and if you were a DARF member, it was only $6 to get in!!

I have a question for whoever hasn't been to WRP to watch a non-wing race yet....... What are you waiting for?????

The stands were thin, but the chilly temps and stiff breeze were probably to blame for that. Dropping 30* in 2 days (not to mention the wind) is pretty drastic!

Cory Crabtree is mainly a winged driver.

There was a little rough driving last night, but I don't think Cory was doing much of it.

From what I saw, guys were simply running the hell out of their cars! Westfall, T-Mez, Hendricks, Crabtree, and Moffatt were all running hard/driving in really deep, and sometimes doing some wheel banging.

T-Mez didn't appreciate Jonathan's repeated bumps, and gave him a little shot on the way past him...but hey, it's non-wing sprint car racing on a small dirt track = that stuff happens. Those guys handled it, and it's done. That works for me

Great win for T-Mez....he's been in the top 3 all year at WRP, and last night was no 'gimmie'. He had to run damn hard, and have lots of nerve running that high on the track.

Joss did a little more than just tap the frontstretch wall. He nailed the sh*t out of it. Very lucky he didn't flip.

Crabtree ran a very good race(even though he pretty much ended our night). there was a couple times he cut people off but he's young and hasn't ran very much non-wing so I guess you'll have that. I talked to him after the races and he certainly didn't want that to happen between him and Matt.

I was not being critical, just wanting to know the top ten.

Just got home after a long Sunday at the U.S. Nationals and then Haubstadt Sunday night, but on Saturday I made the 5 hour trip to Waynesfield. It was my first visit there. I’ve had the place on my hit list for a while now and I’m happy to say it was definitely worth the trip!

I thought it was an excellent sprint car a-main. Before Westfall and Moffatt ran into problems, the race was shaping up to be an epic five car battle for the lead. Still, it wound up to be a pretty darn good feature race with Crabtree, Messeral and Hendrick going at it high and low for the last 18 laps. T-Mez worked and worked the high side trying to get around Crabtree for the lead and finally made the pass stick with five to go.

Waynesfield is much more higher banked than what I had imagined from only looking at race video from the place. Even the D-shaped backstretch has a good deal of banking. I grew up back East, and I have to say Waynesfield’s size and shape remind a bit of Pennsylvania’s Big Diamond Raceway, that track’s original 1/3 mile dimensions before it was stretched to its present size.

If you're a fan of sprint car racing, you owe it to yourself to see a show here.
