Why do we have to go to europe to find engines and car builders???????? Whats wrong with ford gm chrysler 305ci v8's and you can't find several car builders in the usa??????? And them what about american sprint car drivers ???????? Ajnd then take over usac and champdirt cars back in series???

I agree with Superduke. Bring back the days when you had to race both on pavement and dirt to win the Indy Cars series. When I was growing up I remember going to the Hoosier Hundered and Hut Hundred. You could hardly find a seat and it was the same drivers that drove in the Indy 500 along with other USAC drivers trying to make it to the Indy 500. Also the month of May was really the month of may and pole day was always a packed house. No matter what the IRL does it has the same results about two teams always has a chance to win on any given weekend. I remember back when someone at Indy got a old school bus engine out of the junk yard and raced it. Thats the type of excitement that we need to bring back to the IRL.
