I don't if Jiggs took it back over or what but I want to give a BIG thank you to them. I have went the past three weeks and the racing has been top notch. I was one of the people on here biatchin about the track and lack of good racing and I and others need to give them the praise they deserve. Thanks guys for bringing gas city back up to the great racing we all remember.

I don't know what if anything has changed with the track prep procedure. I do know this though, the last 5 weeks have been exceptional and we are all glad to see that happen. I didn't attend the motorcycle race, however my boss did and he said that the track was great. It was around that time that the track prep has been much better.
I am wondering if AMA proposed something that they weren't doing before. Also, they have been fortunate with some overcast days and lttle wind which also helps. We are now seeing the sun set earlier so the September shows should also rock. No matter, it is great to see the racing back at Gas City the way it was a number of years ago.

I was at the opener & the track wasn't bad, came back later & saw something I've never seen in IN racing - dust. I sent an e-mail to the track about the dust & the lighting. Sitting in the pits the lights shine right in your eyes making it hard to see the races. I did get a reply from them & I'm glad they listen to people. Thanks Gas City I appreciate it.
