The Midwest TQ Racing League™ presented by Vincennes University makes their third and final appearance of the season at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds on Saturday evening August 28th. In two visits to the Madison, Ind., oval in 2010 different drivers with the same first name have visited victory lane.

Jason Willis earned his third consecutive win at the fairgrounds oval on June 19th, and Jason Knoke scored his first MTQRL triumph at the Jefferson County Fair on July 16th. In fact the only driver not named Jason to score a win at Madison has been Kenny Byrge, who was the feature winner back on May 30, 2009.

A full racing program of qualifications, trophy dash, two rounds of heat races, a semi-feature (if needed), and a 25 lap feature are on tap. Activities at the fairgrounds will begin at 5:00 pm with practice, followed by qualifications at 6:00 pm and racing is set to begin at 7:00 pm. Grandstand tickets are $8 for adults (12 and over), $5 for children, and 6 and under are free.

Additional prizes up for grabs will be the Jackson Oil & Solvents Duel for Fuel, Tony Stewart Racing Rookie of the Race, Ward’s Apparel Hard Charger, Duane & Sonja Alexander Hard Luck Driver, INOX Slick Move of the Race, and the Green Tech Tail Gunner Challenge. If the polesitter accepts the Tail Gunner Challenge and can win the feature after starting from the rear his victory will be worth an additional $900.

There have been twelve races contested so far this season and eight drivers have visited victory lane. Defending champion Tate Martz won Saturday night at the Shelby County Fairgrounds for his third win of the year, Willis and rookie CJ Leary have each won twice and individual wins have been scored by Ronnie Combs, Chris Guinn, Knoke, Tim Lynch and Nick Speidel.

Well, I guess the ole 29m will be there again, Kyle will need to get his butt in gear, he's in Larado, Tx right now, going to leave today, drive to Houston, 5hr, to look at a truck, and if he buys it, drive it home, another 15hrs, so he'll have his miles built up. See ya all Sat! Bob

That would be a pretty big birdie, I think. That will be great to see again. Might even see some orange kool-aid.

Yeh, it might make it, it was in "surgery" the last time I ck'd, having a "transplant", he wasn't sure if they'd be done for Madison or not. Bob:2:

Finally, some good racing weather, might even need a light jacket tonight, let's all get out and have some fun tonight at the fastest bullring in Indiana, Madison, In, the one place to have the most fun, and still keep your clothes on! Bob
