Copper on Dirt, will be on Lucas Oil tv less than a month. I don't know don't know the date. Is that on Speed?
Very long day of racing! No, track prep between the 2 shows except water! Wasted lots of time on Fridays show on Saturday! The sun could have helped caused the Darland wreck. I did not say I didn't like the show, they could had moved it along faster!!! All of the Friday night show could had been over at least two hours earlier No, other track can take this pounding with just water. I'm impress with Boat! Where were the BBQ ribs?!!!!! The sun was not in their eyes, reported from DD. |

The Darland incident was not caused by the sun. It was caused by two guys racing for position and meeting up on the same part of the race track at the same moment. Highlights will be forthcoming on www.millsvideoproductions.com, and those of you out there reading this can make the determination for yourself... DM |

All I know is that we spent a lot of money on airfare, hotel, and rental car, only to realize that I can't believe it took me 44 years to make a trip to Manzy. What a great show and AWESOME track, I don't care if they tore it up during the break or not. As disappointed as I was for my first trip to the desert to see a lot of rain, all I could do was keep telling myself it was February and I got to spend over 13 hours at the racetrack.
It is easy to get caught up in unrealistic expectations about time, money, and track prep, but when you get to see USAC's finest 2, 3, and 4 wide, flying into Turn 1 at a historic place like Manzanita, it is a no-brainer for me.....I will definitely go back and was not the least bit disappointed in the event. Thanks to Manzanita and USAC for an outstanding weekend. :applaud: |

Gasman fan said that they needed more track prep befor the afternoon break. I will be willing to bet that your post if they did would have went something like this, The racing was not that good and it took all night to get it over. The races didnt end till after 1 am in the morning. (All races over by 11:30)Track prep by ripping the track and re-watering would have taken up a few more hours than it did. The racing was good all night long. THE MORNING HAD ITS SHARE OF RED FLAGS witch caused the races to run longer than they wanted. The track was not driving the cars that crashed so you cant blame it on them. Every crash stoped the race for a short time and that leads to a long afternoon. Maybe next time you should put on the race and it will run smooth as silk you think. I think that Steve Dunn ran the best show under the circumstances that occured over the weekend. Instead of complaining about it next time come out and help. JMHO

What is the cost of one season ticket? I bet I spent more than most fans that live there.:angry-smiley-007: We can spin both ways. |
