As some have posted they hate when a track DRAGS out the show...we ALL understand when circumstances are beyond there control ..what many tracks have adapted down here in Florida is a schedule (time table) of events for the night an adhere by it ... everyone gets one when you sign in and there is NO EXCUSE period...Hot laps at 6:30, racing at 8:00, headed home by 10:30 and this is with 4 divisions ...NO racing after 11:00...Volusia/East Bay/Lake City/Ocala all have this in place and the fans love it

I know Oakshade Raceway in Ohio places a time limit on each of the races. Not exactly sure if they do it for the heats or even all the features. But for the bombers they have a time limit (their average car count in bombers ranges from 50-70) Usually if a feature is 20 laps they get a 20 min time limit, 15 laps - 15min and so on, once the time limit expires white then checkered. Keeps them from taking an hour to run one 15 or 12 lap feature. While it would be hard to impose on sprint cars since they need push started I dont see why it wouldn't work on the other classes.

I don't think its that big of a problem at most Indiana tracks. I for one apreciate if the track is crap and non competitive to rake, water and pack a extra groove or two as long as its a reasonable hour
