[Cincy Mod Championship]

At the beginning of the weekend two drivers had 7 Cincinnati Modified Championship wins on the season. Many wondered if Devin Gilpin or Rick Corbin would be the first with 8 wins on the season. Instead Matt Hamilton would continue his terror of late and take wins at both Moler and Florence Speedway. In the process Hamilton would better his 15 best race point total lead and join the win leaders with 7 wins on the season. J.D. Largent would claim his 3rd win of the season at Lawrenceburg on Saturday night.

All three tracks will be in action this weekend and we are also looking ahead to the Mel Johnson classic make-up feature at Lawrenceburg on August 8th. With the heat races already ran, we know that car count will result in the highest point payout thus far in the C.M.C. The best part is admission and pit passes are free.
