Uh how do I describe the first 3 night of my first Sprint week how about WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!!Being from Seattle and only seeing mostly wing cars this has been so far the best racing I have ever seen.
Kokmo by far was the best so far the people I've met in the stands are so nice and willing to tell me the going on's like why people were booing Balough ha ha very cool nice to see it doesnt matter what track your at the home town guy (DD) the crowds got his back. I was planning on going to Eldora for the Kings Royal but I'm getting swayed evrey day I'm at the track by two things the racing and the fans telling me you have to see the last race at Haubstadt.I've never been to Eldora but I never get to see non wing racing I guess I answered my own ?. You fans back here are very lucky to have to different kinds of Sprintcar classes to choose from wish we had it. Doug ![]() Uh and I didnt bring the rain it's been nice since I left so don't blame me if North Vernon gets rained out. ![]() |

Doug; It's pretty awesome, isn't it? Ten years ago was my first Sprintweek and I've been hooked on nonwinged racing since that first hotlap session at Bloomington. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Welcome to Indiana... we do have the best of both worlds.. the non wing cars are awesome and better side by side racing then drive 3 hours and see the pure speed of the wing cars if we want, but as for me i cant resist the chance to see the legends of Dave Blaney, Kinser, Swindell and Haud battle it out over fifty grand Sat night at Eldora....

I only have one thing to say about the fnal night of Sprint Week at Haubstadt, if there is a choice of watching the racing at Eldora or watching Daron Clayton ride the rim and diamond the track trying for the checkered flag, DC will win every time. To watch the best of the best, all the drivers, in non-wing at Haubstadt is something not to be missed your first sprint week Doug.

The Sprintweek finale is 10 times better racing than the Kings Royal. JMO.
