In reading the "opinions" of those who are interpreting what they feel the radar on the internet shows, it makes me long for the day when you just loaded up, went to the town you were destined for and you either saw a race or you "benched raced" with fellow race fans at the local sports bar over drinks and a meal before you headed back. Ahhhhh the good 'ol days.

quick question regaurding this, I am a lot like the first poster here, go to the track and see if there is a show. I have literally set in the stands getting rained on and the race in front of me kept going because it never got to the edge of the track. At least 3 times at Anderson it has been raining on the street behind the back stretch and I have been dry setting on the back stretch. Since Anderson weekly show has went in the tank, I have decided to travel more this year. Looks like I am going to hit several of the Sprint week shows. I was just wondering what most tracks do if they have a rainout? Is the race rescheduled, do out of towners have a chance to get there money back, or do they just apply the ticket twords the next race? Want to head to lawrenceburge tonight, but would hate to get rainded out and the raincheck be only good for another race. Like the out of towners, I probablly won't make it back this year.

They might have that policy now, but I know they rescheduled a Sprint Week show at Putnamville just a few years back. I believe it was the last one there, and they made it up on Tuesday. I would hope USAC and the track would do that this year. At least for the first three dates.

BTW, after rain this morning, it's a beautiful summer day here in Cincinnati! I'm ready to go racing! Let the Super Bowl of sprintcar racing begin!
