IMO, this was the scenario that we were the most vulnerable of seeing a deal struck that might not include a new Action Track. Directly following the travesty known as the Allison Era. Now, lets give Mike, Davey and Brian a chance to restore it to a condition closer to it's previous prominence. If they do, then the vultures won't even swoop in for a closer look, the next time.

Thanks for the Update Jerry and Thanks again to everyone that got on board with support. I agree that the track should now have a little breathing room, but vultures will always hover over the weak. What I would like to see is more of the support we have shown here, in the Stands.... Its been easy for everyone to blame Dave Allison for everything that went wrong at Terre Haute, but it started before he got there and he was only a part of those problems. Lets hope that DHK can get things started back in the right direction. A little success should go along way and I have talked with Mike at length, His excitement combined with a strong Marketing plan, an Exciting Mix of Shows that can only be called Classics. It seems to me, that they really have took the time to listen to a lot of the things we have been saying. There plans to Pit the cars in the Infield, to make the Teams and Drivers more accessible to the Fans, To only run 1 class, all of these things, should give a new look and feel to racing. Running only 1 class should offer ample time to do a lot of things that we just havent seen in a while.... and it should also give them a chance to learn, they can always add to the shows latter on if they see the need.... I;m excited about the place again.......see you guys at The Action Track..... Wolfe-e

This is great news. The track is in great hands now IMO. Davey Hamilton is a sprint car guy...more on the pavement side, but knows the driver's side. Mike King obviously loves the place. I don't think his IRL ties can hurt from the promotion side.
