We were on the road Sunday and stopped in at a Taco Bell. We were eating and in came a young couple, she had on a Jesse Hockett shirt. I commented to her that I loved her shirt and he spoke up and asked, did you know Jesse?? I told him my connection to Jesse. He said that he was Jesse's cousin and that they lived in North Carolina and were on their way home after being with the family this past week. He said they had a huge memorial service and that even Carl Edwards came. He explained to us in detail what happened and I just conveyed to him how sad we were for the loss. They were really nice people. I hope they had a safe journey home.
