I think Pine and his buddies should match the Pot.
Look at all the pleasure they are going to get in having real sprint cars come their way |

To bad someone doesn't put up a bonus for local drivers to compete. Remember when Frank Lewis did that for CRA back in 1990. It was some type of insurance policy that he bought from I believe Lloyd's of London.
The deal was any driver that beat his CRA regulars won $10,000. I was there when Steve Kinser won the bonus at Eldora. I was also at Brownstown when some local low buck guy (Joe ? something or other) won the bonus too. Although it took a long time to pay him because of some form he didn't sign or some other B.S. Anyway, something like that might entice some Posse drivers to lose their wings for the evening. But then again, maybe not. Just a thought. |

Joe Rouche 'Spelling'? white #36 sprinter. The rumor was that Joe ran a " soft left rear tire on the right rear" to win the feature on a very rubber down Brownstown race track.

Yeah, worst race I may have ever seen. No one could pass as it was so one groove (ran in the infield) that the leader couldn't even get around back markers. Seriously, there were no lapped cars as it was impossible to pass. I think Frankie Kerr ran second if I remember right & Bob Kinser was up front also.

Joe Roush won then had to fight like hell to get his bonus.
