Chris Hoyer talks dirty about sway bars and hangovers. ![]() http://www.hoseheads.com/dannyb.html A look at the generation gap, which is alive and well.

That's some great, thought provoking prose Danny, my boy.
![]() Hope you plan to keep good notes on our planned 2011 left coast visit. I look forward to reacquainting myself with several old Cali available adult beverages. I trust they still offer Burgermeister, Lucky Lager, and others I sampled during my Navy hitch. Thus, I may need to depend upon your missives to jog my racing recall. Those labels are likely history. One of these days there will be only two beers; Bud and Miller, both foreign owned. ![]() Keep hammering those keyboards Danny. Looking forward to your next offering. ![]() |

I just had to add my 2 cents -- If it helps anyone understand the purpose and the gain of the Dri-Bar, I will share a few thoughts.
Forever the typical race car has had the RR torsion bar ( or coil ) do 2 jobs. It has had to control the compression of the back of the car along with the " Roll " . With the original set-up the rate required to do both jobs left the car with way more spring rate in the compression direction than it needed hurting forward drive. So when we isolate the 2 motions we can ad more roll controll allowing us to run the car tighter than we ever have been able to do before and at the same time have a softer rate for compression and increase the forward bite. You add to this ability to change the actual spring rate from the cockpit by moving the handle you can now stiffen the rate to resist the load applied by a full tank of fuel and the best race track you will have alll night and soften it throughout the race as the fuel and the grip of the track are reduced. Walla --- FASTER, BALANCED, PACKAGE DRI-BAR Helps --- Danny Drinan
