The American Sprint Car Tour heads up the highway to the Freeport Raceway Park in Freeport IL on June 12th. We plan on having the regular classes run with us but we will verify this for everyone at a later date.
The Sprint Pay-out will be $1500 to win $250 to start and a $100 guaranteed tow!!

That race on the 1/2 mile track or 1/4 mile track? Either way should be a great show.

We are looking forward to going and putting on a great show at such a historic facility. I am told Mel Kenyon made his first start in a midget there in 1955. I don't know if it was on the 1/2 or the 1/4.

It's great to hear another sprint car series is going to run in the area. I've seen a lot of great racing at the track over the years. Just make sure you have all your ducks in a row well ahead of time because some strange things have happened the last 2 times they have had sprint cars there.
