Anyone recognize this old supermodified?

Trying to find some early history on the attached car. Apparently it was most likely raced as a supermodified in the early to mid 1970's in Michigan. Any help appreciated.

I drove one similar to that owned by Art Braithwaite hid was all white with a number seven on it. This one looks like a DOWKER roadster, not sure about the owner though.
