ASCT Wants to hear from Midget owners!

I need info on what kind of purse it would take to get a 25 to 35 car count at the below race tracks I've listed.

24 Raceway Moberly Mo., Marion Co.Fairgrounds, Freeport Il, Montpelier In, Terre Haute Action Track, Lincoln Park Speedway Putnamville In, Scottsburge In (Fairgrounds).

I am curious to hear from owners on purse structures and interest in running with us. The above tracks are NOT confirmed. I just need as much input as possible. Thank you for all your help. Please contact me as soon as possible.

For the 4 or 5 indiana tracks you probably won't need a huge payout maybe $1,900 to win - $2,500 to win & $175 to start - $200 to start. Other tracks maybe $2,600 to win - $3,000 to win & $225 to start.

Thank you for your input. I have been throwing around the idea of bringing the Midgets in with us on a few shows but I need as much input as I can possibly get.

Should try and lease Paragon Speedway; Paragon, Indiana in September. I just saw this on their 2010 schedule. There is a note on the September part on their 2010 schedule that states: Track Available for rent to any intrested parties or Racing Series. Maybe race ASCT Sprints, Midgets or Late Models, UMP Modifieds, Sportsman/ Super Stocks, & 4 Cyl. Hornets in mid September.

I really don't think Keith is gonna let you "lease" his track, and put on a program, unless you can afford to pay him what he can make off the same show. As I understand that, a number of racers, can "rent" the track, for some practice time, but to actually hold an entire night of racing, ain't gonna happen! Bob
