I had a driver tell me he runs his midget front right axle 3/8" forward from the left front axle. I would assume this helps the car turn in but would this benefit you more on dry slick or tacky tracks? He said he runs this set up all the time but it seems to me it mite hurt the set up under certin conditions I just dont know which?

Thanks, Mark

Running Right Front lead helps the car turn into the corner for sure. It doesn't really affect the car coming out. Stagger is much more dominant than lead. I've ran straight and lead in my front axle and will never run straight again.

I was helping a friend with his sprint car at a dirt track. Couldn't get that car to turn no matter what we tried. I suggested shove the RF forward, but the driver pulled the LR back instead. I believe the rods were to short on the RS. He went out and ran away from everybody in the Semi and did pretty well in the feature.

That sounds right. Some years back I was at a chassis seminar at Kears Speedshop.Karl Kinser was talking setup, and he said to lead the right frt. 3/8" to 1/2" Just my 2 cents.
