What day? There are no grandstand tickets left. You can get pit passes, but you aren't guaranteed a seat. And, I am sure there will be some scalpers walking around outside selling tickets, but who knows on the prices.

You can ALWAYS find tickets out front. Always buy from a "fan" and not the scalpers, you can tell the difference between them in a glance. Also, never pay more than face value. For about a 10 year run, I only bought my tickets out front and always ended up with great seats. I will be heading down from Columbia, MO on Friday morning and will once again, but my tickets out front.
Tips - The front stretch is by far the best view there is with much better air. If you do sit on the front stretch, do not sit in section A or B unless you can get seats above about row 8, otherwise, you can get pelted pretty bad. One year there were "clods" as big as a loaf of bread coming through the fence.......seriously. IMO, the best seats in the place are sections F through J above row 5. Saturday, make a day of it. Get there before noon and plan on a day of crappy track food and AWESOME racing. It starts early and the Chili Bowl is the KING of the alphabet soup. I never could understand why 50% of the crowd doesn't get there until the D Features... |
