Another beautiful raceday in the 70's for qualification. Nice racey track tonight for features. Top 6 from last nights finish started straight up in tonights main. Ziehl checked out again, great racing behind him. DD in the # 36 was able to pass Charlie Davis Jr in the Massey #50 on the last lap for second place, w a nice run by RJ Johnson for 4th w Mike Spencer in 5th. Unofficial Ziehl, Darland, Davis Jr, RJ Johnson, Mike Spencer. Herrara had his steering break while he was running in the top 5. Hoping to see you for the Copper on Dirt next month. Dan Estelle

Sounds like another great run for DD. I would imaging that Charlie Davis Jr. is getting a little tired of getting passed by Dave. That happened the last night of the November show, with Dave driving the #50 team car to Charlie, turned into #36 through the magic of duct tape.

Way to go Dave. Hope you have great runs in Florida.

Two interesting notes, Jojo Helberg (USAC Western States Sprints) and Lance Norick (former Busch and Craftman Truck driver) participated in this weekends racing. A friend of mine had a good talk w Jojo and his team. They talked about his future plans for some USAC national points chasing.

Sorry....forgot to mention it here b4.....(Ex)TSR#20 USAC (Sprinter)was said to be purchased by Yuma's Mike Martin had Mike Spencer as teamate at Tucson....was pretty much way it was lettered when sold,I'd say??....was wonderin what was up,when enterin parkin lot...I saw it in lineup chute!!??....first thing I said was WOW!!....then remembered TSR was down size'n in equip.!!....still was neat to see it!!...good luck to Yuma's own,Mike Martin, with #20!!...........
