Quote from recap of this year's sprint car action "Down Under":

Damian Abbott had pole for the 30 lapper, but a series of prangs spoilt the opening three attempts to log one single lap.

Warren Ferguson,Ben Atkinson and Brett Loadsman all flipped in individual incidents while Damian Abbott and Mitchell Dumesny tangled three from home which brought out the red flags.

Up until that point Abbott had looked the goods in the Aussie Fork Lifts machine and had zipped Schatz on one re-start before Donny slam dunked him a lap later.

I need your help as the Australian Slang Dictionary did not cover these racing (?) terms. I would hate for my translation to not be the goods because a prang spoilt my attempt.

Prangs = Crashes

Loosely translated

Looked the goods = going really well

Zipped I am guessing took off away rom Schatz

Slam Dunked... got back by him

AQ is there anywhere to listen to the WSS for free? The link on www.sprintcarworld.com.au wanted 3.99 to listen.

I think they are charging for the audio. I dont know for sure,as I havet tried to tune in this yr with my crap work schedule.

I used to check in all the time and have the audio in the background,but spent most time in the chatroom where I would get all the dirt,and get messages delivered to friends,plus make plans with friends for racing trips for later in the summer.

I did log into the chatroom yesterday morning at 10PM EST Au time,and no one at all in there.
