I am starting a thread of the official results from Saturday as they become available. If someone would like to do periodic updates here, please feel free. So far (as of 3:45 p.m.), midgets have only practiced. -- Ron Ware, Rumble Series

John Ivy won in the 600s. Billy Wease won midgets. Interesting 60 laps to say the least. Lots of attrition: Stanbrough (who charged from back to 3rd in heat then back to 2nd in his B to tranfer) charged from the back, spun, charged again, then ended up stalled in the infield. Dave Darland and Geoff 'aiser got hooked, ending Darland's night. Kaiser then charged back towards contention only to get caught up again. Tim Jederzek had the lead but pulled in; no clue what happened.

Mel Kenyon took 2nd in his B to make the show; pretty cool.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

I think Timmy J broke a u joint or something in the driveshaft, just lost power. Glad to be back at a racetrack. Was really cool to be at one of Mel Kenyon's last races. To see a 76 year old racing is pretty neat, just the history of him and Don is amazing.
