Christmas is almost upon us and I wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year. The Padfield family is extremely blessed this holiday season with the continued improvement of my grandson Andrew. We celebrated Christmas last weekend and I am still amazed at his progress. He has grown so much over the last six months or so.

Our enthusiasm is still somewhat tempered due to the fact that there is no cure for this dreaded disease. It is hard to compile these updates when so many other AT/RT families aren't nearly as fortunate as we are. We continue to hope and pray that a cure is in the not too distant future.

I again thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, and encouragement during a rather difficult time. It seems like so long ago to me, but it was only two years ago that the battle was on. I will continue to update periodically and I realize when the phone and e-mails pick up that I haven't done a very good job updating. Thanks for following along on Andrew's journey as we continue to Dream, Hope & Believe. Thanks for caring.

Mike

Hi Mike,
Kim and I are in Sevierville, TN for our annual short Christmas stay here. Reading your latest Andrew Update has been like an ongoing Christmas gift to those of us who are following long. We don't really appreciate our own health until we read about one, especially one so young, who hasn't been so fortunate.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and yours.

Thank you for the great update! Miracles happen all the time! Even if medicine doesn't come up with a cure that doesn't mean God won't!
Merry Christmas!! Happy New Year!!
