My friend of 40 years Paul Hazen has a new hip and is getting
ready for his 53rd season in open wheel racing.
I remember him in his first year of racing at Warsaw speedway.
Then a couple of years later had a bad wreck.and decided to
be an owner & mechanic on his own cars.
SO 53 years later #57 is one of the most respected cars in the pits.
No doubt! One of the best guys in the pits, and he's been there my whole life. He epitomizes Indiana sprint car racing, if you ask me. I look forward to seeing the 57 again in 2010...some people say they love sprint cars - Paul just shows it year after year!
