Why do you need provisionals. If you can't race your way in, tough luck. I would prefer you just start the 22 guys who make the effort to make the show.

I’ve attended races at both these tracks. Bluegrass Speedway is a very nice track and I always wanted to see a traditional sprint car race there. I don’t remember much from the Ponderosa race I was at but I think it is the only “D” shaped dirt track I’ve been to.

I raced at Ponderosa almost every Friday this year with the Late Model. Yes it is a D shaped track. Very nice place and nice atmosphere. Wider than Bloomington, 99% of the time smooth but rarely blows completely off. Very fast. I said all summer it would be a great place for sprints. The late models and Mods. put on a good show there. 2.5 hours from Brownstown mainly because of Friday traffic getting across the Kennedy Bridge. Can get home in a little over 2 hours. Always done by midnight.

Is there any place to stay in between both tracks so I can call and maybe cut a deal for all of us to spend the night?A big parking lot would be a plus.

There are hotels everywhere between the two. In downtown Danville, KY; there is some kind of golf course with hotels and stuff right on the HWY. Just minutes from the track. Looked like a nice place. I cannot think of the name of it right off hand. The Pond has quite a bit of parking, and Bardstown has more parking than Bloomington. Bardstown is a nice clean place too. I will get you the name of that golf place with the hotel rooms. Bardstown has a Quality Inn or something like that litterally right across the HWY.

Here is the Golf Course place that is like 5 Minutes from the Pond.
