Seems like the Okc city council wants to strong arm the racers. They told Lanny Edwards that a electrical problem needs to be fixed before there is any racing in the 2010 season. As of right now there is no racing for the 2010 season. There is talk that there will be no racing at all after the 2011 season b/c the track does not meet ADA standards. Instead of bringing the track up to requirements the City just wants to tear it down.

Call the city council or send them a email and show your support of this historic track.

Thank you for today
Thank you God for being the kind of God that we can come to with all our
problems. In the Bible you say in Luke 18:27 NKJ
"The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." Believing You
we ask that you step into the situation with the Track in OKlahoma and that
you find men that will help Lanny get the track up to code before the start of their season.
God as you know racing is such a special sport, families are together, mothers and fathers
are with their kids at the tracks on the weekends, fathers teach their kids skills that will be used
the rest of their lives. Families talk to You about concerns for their kids, husband and friends.
You are welcome in our sport and Jesus name is spoken out loud to the many fans in the grandstands
at tracks all across the world. We pray that this situation will bring Glory to your name and that the
roar of engines will be heard there on Saturday nites.
