In today's NY Times ...

Auto-related gift books: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/13/au...car-books.html

Among them: WINNING; The Racing Life of Paul Newman, By Matt Stone and Preston Lerner, Foreword by Mario Andretti.

The first sponsor bails on Tiger: http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2009...-Gillette.html

''As Tiger takes a break from the public eye, we will support his desire for privacy by limiting his role in our marketing programs,'' Gillette said Saturday.

That reminds me of my Europe vacation with my brother. In Spain I asked a girl around my age where I could buy tickets to the soccer match the next day. She looked at me like I had 3 heads for a minute before I realized that the rest of the world calls it football.
