When arthritis is beating up my left shoulder and knees or when I have to take my heart meds, I don't like being old.
But when I think that I'm lucky enough to have been to Indy a few times when they ran the roadsters, I realize that being old really isn't all that bad.

What a great set of pictures these bring back a lot history. The ones of the 500 in 80s and 90s brought back many memories sometimes I do miss the month of may and the garage area, then I rember the long hrs. and not really. The one thing is the changes from the 50s to now really mind boggling the track,garage area,the stands, peoples dress. I did notice that the yellow shirts as we called them are still in action as allways. Thanks tailtank for the link.:checkered::thumb:
