MI Non Winged Pavement Series at Spartan Speedway

Spartan is pleased to announce that there will be 10-12 Wingless Sprint shows scheduled for the 2010 season. The Sprints will be scheduled on Late Model off nights and will be Friday night shows.

This decision has been based on the level of interest of the potential drivers (some arm twisting) also took place. We will post more information soon, once we get the details sorted out but I wanted to get this information out as soon as possible in order for drivers/owners/crews to make plans.

We will put a Sprint section on the information page of the web site that will include details pertaining to the Spartan Wingless Sprints.

I read over on TJ's they are planning on paying $600 to win and $200 to start. Not sure how successful this series will be to get cars for that payout unless their strict rules on tires, etc.
