Found this on Waynesfield website.

Following a vote during the meeting with Mini-Sprint teams on November 1st, promoter Dean Miracle has announced that Mini-Sprints will return to Waynesfield Raceway Park in 2010, but with more power.
Starting in 2010, Mini-Sprints competing at Waynesfield Raceway Park will be permitted to run engines UP TO 1000cc. Some adjustments to our rules will be made to allow the teams with 600cc engines to continue to compete. Full rules and details will be released in the next 2-3 weeks.
By allowing the 1000cc cars, WRP opens the gates to many teams who are looking for another venue to race, while also not shutting the door on the 600cc teams. The Mini-Sprints put on great shows all season long at the 1/3 mile clay oval, and this should enhance the already exciting competition.

I just was confused on why you would go away from 600s, i don't see any rule package making 600s competitive against 1000s. Any idea on what your purse will be, and any chance to see AMSA for a few races? 1000s will put on a good show at wmp

Does anyone on here know what 35 Raceway will do? Will they stick with the 600's or up the limits too?

I agree with the 600s not being able to really compete with the 1000s. My guess though is that they'll make a weight rule for 1000s and keep it open for 600s. It wont help, like you said, but that's probably what they'll do. And really...just get rid of your 600 and go buy 1000. They're pretty much the same price now adays.

Any chance we could see the midgets racing at Waynesfield next season? Run some open comp races like Kokomo.

I would also LOVE to see some midget races at Waynesfield!!!

There are a lot of midgets just sitting........it's time to dust them off, and go get some mud on 'em.

Where is Waynesfield? I live just north of Cincy and right now the Burg is just a hop skip and a jump. Also wondering if WRP is starting their own mini sprint weekly class or going to run AMSA sanctioned races there? Thanks in advance.

Waynesfield Raceway Park is about 10-15 minutes East of I-75 at Wapakoneta, OH's exit for US 33...the pit entrance is off of Waynesfield Rd.

The 600cc winged Mini Sprints have been one of Waynesfield's regular classes for several years now.
