Does anyone know of any indoor winter dates for upright mini sprints BESIDES the Kemper show?? Wing or non-winged? I heard Illinois ran some indoor stuff in the winter, anyone know if that's still going on?

Also, why can't they move the Kemper show to somewhere like Lucas Oil Stadium up in Indy? I saw a Monster Jam show there, and there is PLENTY of room to put on a great midget show. Easily a quarter mile in there when the monster trucks were runnin. Just wonderin...is it money? Space for haulers? What?? Cuz that new stadium is the bees knees!

If you'll stick around, and dust all the seats, I hear they might consider it. Bob

I wish they'd do Duquoin again. I'd do that 100 times before I go to Kemper.

L.O.S. is 40-45k a day it takes 4 days to put it in, take it out and have this place cleaned plus 1 day for the race.have looked at it,pits, parking for truck and tailersare no problem. it is the parting with 400-500k up front to maybe having a good event.

I know it'd be expensive but, they've been selling out the Chili Bowl for years. I dont know just how much seating they've got down in Tulsa but, Lucas Oil would hold AT LEAST 50,000 with the safety precautions. Now you run even a two day show, and have an average ticket price of $25 each night...thats 50,000 seats x $50 for each individual AVERAGE for both nights = $2.5 MILLION dollars in just tickets alone. Now, one might say, you'd never sell that show out...well I'd beg to differ. It's Indianapolis, the heart of Midwest racing, and midwest race teams. I know with tickets being even $20 a piece for Midgets, Minis, and Dwarfs like the Kemper deal...you'd get that place to fill up quick. It could be televised, and hell...Lucas Oil OWNS the stadium. How perfect! I'm just saying...it seems like a no brainer to me. But I'm sure theres other ******** I dont know about so...I'll just spend my winter workin on the car and sittin around.

The problem with Lucas Oil is the Colts play there. And they typically play sometime into middle January, depending on playoffs. They could often play till the end of the January. So the earliest you could have it would be the middle of February... and around that time most sprints and midgets will be out west or in Florida

That's true, but that could easily be fixed. Run a friday, saturday show a weekend the colts don't play at home. Easily 4 days to get the track installed and ready, and then a week to take it out.

Where there's a will there's a way...but I still just want to know if I can race indoors this winter somewhere or not.
