This is Adam Nigg, driver of the 25n Maxim/Fischer MSCS sprint. I've always wanted to wrangle these 850hp engine stands with wheels, and this year I finally had the chance to do so. I set out with the goal of a top 10 in MSCS points and possibly Rookie of the Year. Well, I ended up 5th in points and won rookie of the year. This is due to the support from many parties. I would like to give them part of the thanks they deserve here.
Schaeffer's Racing Oil (Jerry Himsel)- Without these guys my car wouldn't have been as clean or as smooth- operating On the Rocks Custom Stone Engraving- Vinyl lettering and graphics. Meny's True Value- Put up with my racing addiction and still gave me work. Benic Enterprises- Brad and Scott dealt with my constant barrage of questions. Also make great shocks. Gene Nigg Construction- Pretty much the force that made this operation happen. My parents- Supporting my dreams! Hinchman Indy (Nancy Chumbley)- Made a mighty fine uniform to keep me safe. Economy Racing Components (Allen Ruppenthal)- Been with me since my beginning in uprights. Scott's Performance Engine Center (SPEC)- Lives 10 minutes from me and has answered many questions. Also, I would like to thank the crew of the Midwest Sprint Car Series. They do a lot of leg work to gain series sponsorship and contingency sponsors throughout the season. These include Hoosier Racing Tire, Gross Enterprises, American Electronics, Bell Racing, Hinchman Indy, Keizer Aluminum Wheels, RaceBumpers.com, Rod End Supply, Saldana Racing Products, and Wilwood Brakes. Another group of people I would like to thank are the crews and drivers that I have competed with this year. We came from a track where everyone was willing to help, and we did not know what to expect stepping up to this level of racing. We were pleasantly surprised at the hospitality and advice we were offered throughout the season. Several people who I would like to callout are- Cummins Racing- Super super fine people! Kyle, Mark, and Jay, Thank you so much! Jon Stanbrough- I've picked the brain of this gentleman on several occasions. His advice helped me greatly. Short Racing- Don and Brady have helped us several times. These guys are a class act. Ken Baldwin- Heck, he's a nice guy to talk with. Dave Darland- Anyone who has ever talked with Dave knows that he is a great person. Finally, I would like to thank all of the fans that come out and support this fine sport! You guys and gals are what make this sport something big! Anyways, Thanks to everyone. I look forward to another great year in 2010. Congrats on the great year, Adam. There was a world of difference between you at the beginning of the year, to the way you were driving at the end of the season. Each time I saw you run, this year, you could see improvement from the time before. Good job and good luck next season.
