Daves right, Rain ends in north vernon as of 8am fifty miles to west. should be out by noon. Forcast says partly sunny by 5pm and very little chance of rain for the rest of today and tomorrow.

A cold front will push rain and a few thundershowers through the region this morning but some clearing is expected by this afternoon. Cooler air hangs around for the next several days behind the front.

After a wet start today the rain will come to an end and we may even see a little sunshine before the day is done. It will be yet another cool afternoon with highs only in the lower 60s. That is about 10 degrees below normal for early in October. A Fall-like evening is expected with breezy and cool conditions. If high school football is part of your plans you might want to take along a jacket to stay comfortable. Once the sun goes down temperature will drop rather quickly through the 50s into the middle to upper 40s overnight. It should be dry all evening though under partly to mostly cloudy skies.

An area of low pressure is looking to set up in the Great Lakes for the weekend. It will have some minimal effects on us in the way of some passing clouds and breezy conditions at times. However, any rain from that system looks to remain to our north so I'll add only about a 20% chance of a spotty shower for tomorrow while Sunday looks dry and slightly milder but still cooler than normal.
