Tim
Thanks for bringing the cheese to Eldora Saturday, it was a pleasure meeting you and several other IOW posters for the first time.

We walked by a maroon van with Wisconsin plates on our way to the pits. Asked the driver if it was the Watson carriage. My hearing (along with many other functions) not what they once were and we couldn't make out what he replied. I believe we awakened the chap from a nap, so we quickened our pace. Thought we would surely see our frozen tundra residing friend later. Never happened.

And what of the meet and greet? Didn't see a time or place listed here before heading out at 9:30 a.m. Met and gret many Iow'ers in our travels anyway.

Did run into double Daves (Rudisell and Reese) plus the BIGBUDMAN and convinced the boss to forget his badly thought out requirement to buy a 'Burg blanket/cushion for all future seat saving. So all you savers of seats owe me big time.

Well it took me until 5 or 6pm Saturday night to finally get that damn cheese out to mowerman and friends but i got 'er done. Friday night i was wandering the camping area aimlessly after the races but i couldn't even find myself much less try to find anybody i knew. It was nice to see a few IOWer's i knew like mowerman, Aero, Jerry Shaw, fishnman and i did meet a few new people to like, Z-man, Dave Rudisell, BigBudMan, half fast, or as mowerman refers to him as half, openwheelKT and if i missed anyone i'm sorry. Marv you had the right van but as Friday night consumed me i was taking a little when you walked past. I did get up but you were already gone. I did see Danny Burton walking by the campers and i hollered but he was on the phone and didn't notice me.

The horseradish cheese went over big time and it was nice to give some to Tony Elliott as he walked past. All in all a good weekend and now it's time to get back to reality here in the not yet frozen tundra of cheeseland. See you all next year and i'll be bringing more cheese!

Shouldn't you be doing something at the track for next weekend?

It was nice to meet a few new people. Thanks to Tim for the cheese. It was outstanding. Next time I'm up in the Land of Cheese racing I'll be sure to look for some.

Tim, don't forget Lawrenceburg is running this weekend. I know several people were trying to talk you into coming back.

Dave are you superstitious? First the Bengals beat the Packers, then i bring you cheese from Wisconsin that you eat during another Bengals win. So i guess i need to send you more cheese so the Bengals keep winning.

openwheelKT you look me up anytime you venture into the cheese curtain and i will hook you up.

Lawrenceburg would be great this weekend but i believe my racing is done for this year. The crowd at mowerman's did try everything to talk me into coming....just short of twisting my arm off and beating me over my own head with it! I did give them an alternative though. When asked what it would take to get me to Lawrenceburg this weekend i said "send a plane for me so i could be there in an hour instead of 8 hours". BigBudMan did offer to borrow me some BEER for both days so that was a nice gesture.

Offer is still good Tim. You might have to bring me some cheese though. This has the makings to be the best race weekend of the year.
It was cool to catch up with all the IOW members. Thanks to Aero for hooking me up with his favorite brew. It was great to spend time again with the elusive Crocker Stalker and of course open wheel KT. I think he enjoys beer as much as Aero,Mowerman and me. It was great to spend time with the promoter of the year and his wife. See you guys this weekend.
