After another battery of tests and examinations yesterday at the Midwest Eye Institute in Indy, Coleman has been cleared to begin racing again. The Retina Specialist was surprised to find that the injuries that Coleman suffered last month at Lakeside Speedway are not only completely healed but there are no traces of the Hemorrhaging that he suffered and the Optic Nerve is completely healed. Coleman was able to read the 20/25 and 20/20 lines in his vision test. To quote the physician, "if you were to go to an optometrist for a regular check up, he would not even be able to tell you had trauma to your eyes".

That was obviously great news for this Family as we have been praying for a full recovery for Coleman whether it involved Racing again or not. We have been discussing when and where Coleman will return and it may be this weekend at one of the local tracks here in Indy. Our Car is almost ready to fire and Brian Cripe, Coleman and our buddy Todd Kimmel have been busy getting his ride ready to go. And, in a case of Irony, we had a visit today from Justin Grant and the 5 Team. Coleman and Justin shared some very similar moments from their respective crashes. We are very glad that young Justin will be fine as well. Great kid...

I guess it goes without saying but I want to say it anyway. They Prayers and well wishes from the IOW gang has helped us through this tough time and we are forever grateful. Coleman sends his sincerest Thank You to everyone that has been so gracious to us over the last few weeks.

We look forward to seeing everyone soon. Thanks again all....

Sincerely,

Pete G.

Great news to hear. Hope to see you guys at Granite City for the Gold Crown Midgets in a few weeks, as Coleman sure looked good there this summer.

Also, it's special to hear that Cripe has a job......
