Just wanted to let everyone know what a good time we had this past weekend at Haubstadt. I got to meet several of you and put faces with names. We didn't run as good as we had hoped, had a bleeder break in the heat race and after you start that far back in any race it really puts you behind the eight ball!
Jan is weighing our options for next season, but I can tell you that you haven't seen the last of us. We have some notes now for this type of racing. Just racing with a 305 in here at home is a lot different than that 410 for sure! We might even be looking for a non wing specific car, not really sure yet. Already know a few changes will be made to our current car to make it even better than it already is. Once again thanks to everyone who came by and let us know they were happy we were there to race, tell us how good the car looked, and just be the hospitable folks we knew you to be. We had some assistance setup wise from the Gardner crew and some advice from Dave Darland also. Maybe on our next trip we can do a lot better for everyone involved and actually put this thing in the show!! ![]() Rick Holder Howard Racing |

Thanks for coming up. I hadn't seen you since I-30 two years ago and was glad to see you again. I really hope you can come up some more next year and race nonwing. Best of luck the rest of this year.

Jim I know we won't be at the Burg that weekend. We have our Grassroots Nationals for the 305's that night. He won it last year and was third from the back the first year in 2007 before getting wrecked. It doesn't pay what L'burg will, but we don't quite have the engine and experience for that deal yet.
We will be back again some next year, just trying to figure out what to do about the car. I want to go get a new DRC, but I don't pay the bills either.........haha. Rick |

Rick, your and Jan's reply when I was joking with you guys about the 410 a couple of weeks ago now makes sense. I didn't know you guys were going up near God's country.

It was good seeing yall race up there Saturday night. I would give anything to have a 410 to race on that track. I was pulling for yall, I thought he was going to make it out od the C if it wasn't for the tires in turn 1. See yall at Riverside Saturday.
