His car owner sat in front of us last night @ Haubstadt. And before the b-main, Justin came up and watched the rest of the races next to me. He looked fine except for real light racoon eyes. He told me durin the time they were cuttin off the cage, he couldn't see a thing. But his vision returned right away. He was a little sore & stiff, but otherwise alright. A real nice guy, imo.

It's really great news to hear that he seems to be OK. Sounds like that was a bad one.
Hope to see him back racin soon.

Good to hear, Justin is a great kid. We have raced with him this season and I cannot recall a young man that is more polite.

Hope to see you out west soon Justin.

best wishes,
Rick

Thanks to everyone for the posts and phone calls.

Justin is doing fine. Bloodshot eyes, black and blue, and a bit sore. Talked to him yesterday and he said he felt fine.
Better than he expected he would and the CAT Scan was all good, no issues. I think Hunter and his dad, Jeff and Ken finally convinced Justin to go back in and get a CAT scan; (thank you).

A Quick Note:
Justin said Jeff (Walker), and Ken (Baldwin) were there with him right after the crash, and Ken kept us informed every step of the way. It's good to know that Justin has some very good people looking out for him, and helping him back there.

The live updates are FANTASTIC, but when your kid crashes it is sure a helpless and scary feeling. It was really great that Ken thought to contact us while Justin was still in the car. It REALLY helped Justin's Mom who was watching the live updates while at the High School football game.

The members that post the live updates do a wonderful job, keep it up. Thanks to Spridge for posting that he was alert and talking. That small bit of information is huge when you are 2,000 miles away.

Thanks again to all those who expressed concern at the tracks, on the forums, and through phone calls.
