Midwest Thunder “Down and Dirty Series”
Kokomo Speedway – Kokomo, Indiana
Round 3 & 4 – August 22, 2009

Sign In Fees: $30.00 per car /per event - or- $50.00 for both events per car

Two complete shows – One show will be Saturday morning/Afternoon The other will be Saturday evening.

FRIDAY, August, 21 Track Closed All Day
Parking will be under direction of club/Track officials. No parking before Friday at Noon without prior approval.

6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Sign-Ins open (Pill draw for Heat order)
Safety Check (See details below)
The designated fuel station is Gas America across from taco bell at US 31 and North Street. Purchase 89 Octane. Methanol will not be provided. It is the responsibility of the handler to provide their own methanol fuel and to be prepared for on-track refueling stops.

8:30 a.m. Mandatory Driver’s Meeting (Please bring Raceceiver with you)

9:00 a.m. Sign-Ins closed - Late entrants wishing to sign in after the designated closing
time will be accepted, however, entrant will start at the tail of that particular class heat race and will not receive passing points for the heat race.

9:00 a.m. Mandatory Handler’s Meeting

9:30 a.m. Practice & Racing (Junior/Senior Rookie , Light/Heavy WF, Junior/Senior Honda, Heavy Honda, Light/Heavy 160, Junior/Senior Stock, Light/Heavy Mod, Light/Heavy B, Light/Heavy AA, Half)

the weather looks good for this first ever event!! Hope to see alot of the local big car fans out there.

Melmo wanted me to post that there are over 40 cars there and there will be a day show and another full show this evening.

We are heading back out to the track to do a little flagging, if you get a chance stop and look at what Kokomo has done for these kids it is pretty cool and well worth the time to stop by.
