The West's contacted the MSCS on Tuesday to let them know that the few sponsors that they had lined up for the 10k race had basically backed out on them. And also just recently, they were contacted by an outside party who wanted to sponsor a wing show and that this "party" only wanted to do a winged show. Billy did say that he wanted to schedule more MSCS shows in the future.
I didn't realize this race had been cancelled, but on another board I read that MCS had replaced it with this winged race and now there are sponsors pouring in more money for it. It's up to $7,100 to win last I checked. Only thing is that the All-Star's are running their rescheduled (twice) race at Terre Haute that night so that will take some cars away I believe.

Morgan County Speedway couldn't have picked a better way to insult non-winged sprint car fans. Tell "Billy" that I decided to pull the plug on ever going all the way over to that remote part of the state to watch a sprint car race, again. I hadn't seen a good race over there yet, anyway. There's always been such little effort made to prep the track and it has always black ice by the time heats are over, each of my five times over there. Nice group of regular race fans over there, though. That's the only thing that made you want to go back over there.
