Joe Spiker wants to know what time the teams and fans would like to start at VCS...

Right now, Racing is set to begin at 7pm CDT.

I think starting hotlaps at 3pm and racing at 5pm, would be a better option especially since the track prep is pretty good at VCS.

What do you think?

Hotlaps at 5pm CDT. and Racing at 6pm. That way not too much sun to kill the track and realize that you will probably need to rewater and work later in the evening.

I agree with you(racing at 6PM EDT), an 8PM EDT start will keep me at home on Sunday. I had planned to have mowerman let me know what time it ended this week to see if I could get home before midnight. You guys can say what you want but work pays the bills and that comes before racing.

I agree with racefan20. An 8:00pm EDT start will also keep me at home. The earlier the better.

If it started earlier we might make the trip over from Bloomington. I like Bill's idea of hot laps at 3:00.

hotlaps at 3 and racing at 5 might get me over there. Wouldn't even think about if they don't start until 8 (est)

Works for me. Even earlier would OK also.

hot lap at 3, and the track will more then likely be rubber down right around the bottom... It has gotten that way on a regular night of racing that didnt starts hot lapping till 630 or 7... I understand people wanting to get home early, and not saying anything bad about the track or track prep but the cars and sun will really hurt that track..

Why not hot laps 11 and racing at 12. Fans and teams could do both Danville and Kokomo.

I know....too much sun, track not good enough, too much dust, but a day show here and there would be nice.

I say the 3 o clock would be good.
