The track started out quite heavy and needed extra time to be worked in but once it was track prep didn't have to touch it the rest of the evening. The track was the best it's been all year, thanks to fishnman and crew.
![]() Everyone knew Brady Short would be tough to beat and he was. John Memmer turned heads the right way last night, by working lapped traffic better then anyone and eventually reeling Short in. The lone yellow in the feature, a late one because of a minor spin by Jim Gardner, thwarted Memmer's chance of winning. Perry III looked strong all evening and finished a strong third ahead of hard charging Dickie Gaines who came from mid pack. Give a callout to Chad Boesphlug, who started the feature with questions regarding the engine, and brought it home around eighth. I might be wrong but I counted only one car dropping out of the feature. |

![]() Actually, I had nothing to do with it last night. I had some pretty serious surgery done on both legs Friday. Came to track at 11 and Tim Johnson would not allow me in any equipment. I did take the time and hobbled around the pits for awhile. I am paying for it today. :30: The praise goes to Timmy, he is the real track prep man at the burg. |
