I would like to send out a special invitation to all of the Indiana Sprint Car drivers, including the regulars at Lawrenceburg Speedway (they are off the 15th) to race with us at RTR in our first ever 410 Sprint Car show. This is a winged Sprint Car show, but I know some of the drivers in Indiana occasionally run with a wing. Below is the complete race information:

410 Sprint Car Format
The format is still yet to be decided upon. Driver input is welcome (please contact me by PM or by email at rockytopraceway@yahoo.com). We will either do the format used at K-C Raceway and Skyline Speedway or the below format. Again, driver input is welcomed.

Heat races start heads up from time trials. If there are two heat races, the top three in each heat redraw for starting positions 1-6 in the feature. If there are three heat races, the top two in each heat redraw for starting positions 1-6 in the feature.

Also, I want drivers to be assured that we will do everything to insure a safe race. Much additional chain link catch fence will be added to the track before the race along with some other safety improvements. Of course, EMS and fire crews will be on site.

(consisting of track owners Blaine Evans and Don Harmon and track promoter T. J. Layne). If everything goes my way, I might make this my Friday night stop on the way to the Jack Hewitt Classic at Waynesfield.

Skyline and Attica are not running 410's on Friday. Near as I can tell, the only other track running 410's in Ohio this Friday is Lakeville. So, should be able to get at least 20 cars.

I would like to get down there but I doubt it will happen. I am definately going to Waynefield. It is a lot closer to the west side of Columbus. On a side note, I am glad that Skyline is not running the sprints so the Rocky Top Field should be decent.
