Just got a call from the track and they are rained out.

Was it really a gully washer with no chance of running (with 10 tractors) or was it just a small crowd??? Just wondering................

It was a complete downpour and the track was lost. There was water standing in the infield. The unfortunate thing is driving up and down 41 the only place that was getting rain was Haubstadt. Tommy stayed on the tractor during the rain but it was going to take a lot to get that place back into shape for racing. Oh well, see you guys next week for the 5k to win race.

It was a downpour. Started as a light passing shower then it let loose. All the tractors in the world couldn't have saved that track. : (

About 2 minutes before the last down pour Tommy made the comment on the radio that they where not giving up because the teams and fans where allready there. Then the skies opened up and it was clear that they could not come back from it.

just like somebody else said,,, what stinks is u get on 41 and go 3 miles south and roads were barely wet? second time it has done that to me when i drive all the way there...

From someone who feels your pain, it rained a little then alot at Farmington. Then the sun came out after it ruined the pits, driving home at at least 4 miles from track ground was dry.
